Nachmo Alphabet Project (2026)

This was a Ko-fi supporter exclusive project that I created over the month of January 2026 (traditionally when National Choreography Month -- or Nachmo -- is held). I choreographed 26 excerpts for songs starting with each consecutive letter of the alphabet during the month and released one video per day exclusively to my Ko-fi community.

My main rule was that I had to do a minimum of 32 counts of music per letter. I also had a goal of keeping the choreography around an advanced beginner/intermediate skill level.
The result was a pretty good variety of my stylistic and rhythmic range. I tackled musical genres from rap to folk to rock to jazz to country to synthwave, covering a period of 41 years of music (1980-2021).

While these are all choreographed as tap dances, to be performed with tap shoes, a lot of them are demonstrated here in soft shoes due to consideration for my neighbours/housemate.
